Effective
These terms cover your use of 2by.app, made by Code House Productions (“we”). By using the site or the demo you agree to them.
2by is a design aid, not an engineer
2by draws framing, sizes members against published span tables and design values, and writes cut and shopping lists from the model you describe. Its results depend entirely on that model and on the values it uses, and they are not a substitute for a licensed engineer, an architect, or your building department. Check every figure that matters before you build, follow your local code, and get plans reviewed and permitted where required. You are responsible for what you build.
Early access and accounts
2by is in early access. Features change, things break, and accounts are by invitation. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.
Your models
The models you create are yours. We claim no ownership of them. The demo keeps them in your browser (see Privacy).
Fair use
- Do not try to break, overload, or get around the security of the site.
- Do not use automated means to sign up, sign in, or submit forms.
- Do not use 2by to break the law or to harm others.
No warranty
2by is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses arising from decisions or construction based on 2by’s output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for 2by in the twelve months before it (during early access, nothing).
Changes
We may update these terms. We change the effective date when we do, and tell account holders by email about any change that affects them.
